Application:

Caustic soda is mainly used in synthetic detergents and refined vegetable oils.

In the textile industry, cotton and hemp textiles are treated with caustic soda to improve fiber properties. Man-made fibers such as rayon, artificial wool, rayon, etc., are mostly viscose fibers, which are made of cellulose, sodium hydroxide, and carbon disulfide.

In water treatment, the hardness of water is eliminated, the pH value of water is adjusted, and wastewater is neutralized. It can also be used in glass making.
